WebTIMOPTIC-XE is a formulation of timolol maleate containing novel delivery vehicle. It is a sterile aqueous solution. Each mL of TIMOPTIC-XE 0.5% w/v contains 5.0 mg of timolol (6.8 mg of timolol maleate). Gellan gum used in this formulation contains a highly purified anionic heteropolysaccharide.
