My T18 has been making a grinding/rattling noise in 4th gear, usually when coasting or very light throttle. I pulled the it out yesterday and upon inspection, the 3/4 shift sleeve is contacting the big gear on the counter shaft. It seems like the shift sleeve is moving too far forward. There is also a lot of movement in the synchronizer.
