Websudo start gdm. and gdm started normal. So, the problem in lightdm. To solve the problem I tried to purge lightdm and reinstall it. sudo apt-get purge lightdm sudo apt-get install lightdm. and. sudo apt-get install --reinstall lightdm. The both ways didn't help. Now I use gdm, but wants to restore lightdm if it is possible. Web17 sep. 2011 · Hi, it seems the -novtswitch option is hardcoded into /usr/sbin/lightdm.
