Web23 apr. 2024 · In previous legal articles I have explored a number of the provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act that impact exploration drilling operations and in a recent article , I began to discuss Section 21 - the section that addresses the responsibilities of manufacturers and suppliers. Web(1) The owner of a mine shall of manager (a) appoint, in writing, a person having the prescribed qualifications as manager for the mine before any work commences at a mine; and (b) ensure that there is a person having the prescribed qualifications acting as manager at all times, unless the mine has been closed in accordance with the regulations.
