But I no longer uniform inside flash holes, nor primer pockets. Lapua brass is so good, that it is not necessary. New brass gets trimmed, champfered, and necks expanded. WebDec 13, 2024 · I prep 400-500 rounds of .223 brass at a time for my AR so speed is important but for my precision rifle I usually deal with 50-60 pieces of brass at a time so I use a Lyman trimmer, hand chamfer and de-burr and clean the primer pockets by hand.
